Camp

Well we got back from camp about

a week ago now.It was really quite a

lot of fun took some time too get use too it though.

I ended up in the big tent most of

the time becouse I liked it best.

idea on my computer.Make a pic on a
different pic. Worked quite well, this is what I ended up
with,not too bad.Hardest
bit was geting a point not
too small, and not too big.
anyway I think i did a
pretty good job.

The Revolution At Eureka

The Eureka Stockade

"Were the miners at Eureka traitors or revolutionaries? Justify your view."

1. What is a revolutionary?

A revolutionary is someone who thinks the people in charge aren’t treating others fairly and wants to change things to make things better.

2. What was wrong?

At the goldfields at Eureka the license fee was way too high. It was 30 shillings a month for a gold license (200 dollars in today’s money). If that was not bad enough, the fine for not having a license was 5 pounds! In the end there were a lot of people who couldn’t pay and got in trouble and had to pay more.

3. What changed after the Eureka Stockacke?

The license fee was abolished and the Miners Right took its place. A Miner’s Right gave the right to dig gold, own land and vote. It cost a pound instead of 30 shillings, but lasted for a year instead of a month. Eight new members were elected to parliament to represent the gold fields, and license hunts were banned. So in the end, everything was a whole lot better.

A New ipod.(3th one)

Well just got my 4th ipod in a year, hmm not a good history...

My 1st one was a little thing,not very good but still working

a year later. my 2nd ipod is..lets just says it is very clean.

Hmm I hope a water proof one will be made soon,

the 3rd one I really liked but it just

stopped working I'm not sure what was wrong with it..

And so dad brought it back to the shop and they gave

him a new one. Last one was 6Gb this new is 8Gb!

So a awful lot of book can fit on it.

A Poem, (My Standards.)

I was told to write a poem, oh well may as well try...Go out to the outland, and defend the poor,

So off we did go to brave what was there!

We killed a few pigs,

and some inps too. Oozes and demons,

all of them losers. As on here and there

we scouted the the place, but we

were warned about a place were a

giant machine went through

causing great trouble

were ever he go! but we just though ha!

they were just scared! We would go out

and kill that fel reaver! He could not

be all that bad. So off we went.

we were happy and cheerful,

quite unaware of a shape coming up behind,

without a sound fel reaver jumped on our heads

in two or three hits we were laying quite dead.

damn that fel reaver he came unawares.

How Nice, Its Raning.Again!

Rain,rain ever day.I wish would rain on the dam.
There the rain would be great! The damn is down to 65%.
but it was down to 55% before the rain.Which was worse.

But inside is dry, lol it should be! Some thing is very wrong if it was wet inside! ;)

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Strange Bright Object

Well we went to the Magellan observatory. Very interesting,

and cloudy. But not too much at least! Dad got some good

pics.Also very cold. We had a big frost

first morning there. Not the next two

morning though, But lots of fun still!

iPods don't like washing machines and really don't like driers.

Hmm, thats why my iPod is so cross, it went though both.

The Tour de France

As you may or may not knowI am quite into world of warcraft (wow for short).

I have a 64 night elf druid, a 60 gnome warlock, and a 22 blood elf mage...

So as you can see i am going quite good!But my brother has a 70.Sigh...Oh well you can't have everthing.

well i just got a new flute teacher she is very nice

All the power you could need

Two whole weeks was Mr Pippin, the red mini dachy, at his health farm. We picked him up after our southern holiday and should have connected his tail to an electrical generator because he wagged so hard that he could have supplied all of NSW in electricity for the night...

We went to Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra and Dubbo, and listened to our little sisters say "can we go home now?" about 1000000 times.

So we are very happy to be back home to our own house and kitchen and shower and beds. I can do without another holiday for a little while!

one of the worst swimming lessons of my life

You guessed it, I did NOT drown like the Stig, but I did swim further than most Blue Whales do in their annual migration... The teacher must have borrowed mum's whip!

I reckon I sweated so much that the pool was deeper after we finished the lesson :-)

Mess plus Hard Work equals Tidy

Under threat from a big whip, or at least no computer time, Lachy and I tidied up our room.

Then mum came along and pulled all our stuff out of the boxes were we hid it in and we tidied up again properly... took most of the afternoon.

So that was sunday. Then we had to go to bed early because we are having visitors tomorrow, so no comet spotting either!

Fire and Ice

No, this is not a movie - actually it is but dad won't let me watch it until he has previewed it. Rather than going to the beach today, we started a fire. Not a bushfire, just a cooking fire on the bricks outside the Nakasaki's home, but good enough for potatoes and marshmellows. The potatoes ended up undercooked and the marshmellows burnt (if they got into the flames) otherwise perfect - we ate them anyway.

It's been a fun day but I'm glad to home and on the computer... dad says we might watch Lord of the Rings later - wooohoo!

We went to Brisbane

This was no great shopping trip. We went to hospital. Not our local hospital either - this one was over the hills and far away - in Brisbane. It was lots of fun, not. Actually it could have been much worse, and much better...

Genna had injections into her leg, some stuff called botox. We sat around several waiting rooms and tried not to look bored, but I had a hard time trying to hide it!

We came home as quick as possible (two hours on the road) and then did luge on our skateboards - and I won something! The best crash of the week award! and the most blood after a crash award! I was very happy, excited, and in pain. It was worth it.

My Little Dog

My little dog his name is Pip,
he likes to give my nose a nip,
he wags his tail and stays up late,
and sleeps inside a wee green crate.

My little Pip, he's chocolate brown,
he sometimes makes my daddy frown,
he wees on the carpet and the tiles,
and barks so loud he's heard for miles.

My little dog, he loves me so,
he follows everywhere I go,
in the morning he snuggles in my bed,
and whines and wags til he gets fed.
